Yep, i'm about to recap this year from all what i saw and experienced during that year.

Part I: From the Crisis to Michael Jackson


January

- Started as usual, but with an economical "crisis" that made everyone pay their needs and stuff higher than expected, not to mention the Transformers figures, i'm not gonna pay 275 pesos for a Deluxe class.


February

- The Super Bowl XLIII hits this month, the half time showed some of the best commercials, along with movie trailers like "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen", "G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra" and "Star Trek", but everyone who lives in Mexico were unable to watch them or see some great moves on TV due to an interruption from political advertisements.

- In February 13th Michael Bay revives a horror classic film: Friday the 13th


March

- In March 6th the Watchmen hitted the theaters, it was quite good.

- After the huge letdown that i got with "Thunder Force VI" on my PS2, another shmup cames out in march 26: "Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced", it wasn't bad after all but to be honest (as a shmupper) it could be better.


April

- Fast and Furious arrives on the third day of the month, out of that nothing special happened on this month.


May

- The Last entry in the Terminator series arrived: Terminator Salvation.

- Stratovarius released the CD "Polaris", it was too bad to see the guitarist Timo Tokki leaving the band for create it's own: "Revolution Renaissance" who released the albums "New Era" and "Age of Aquarius".


June

- The countdown for the Revenge Of The Fallen begins, i didn't know what to wait, just expecting to be a "Non-Stop" robot battle like the first one.

- June 24: The wait is finally over as Autobots and Decepticons return to the big screen in the movie "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen", in my opinion this movie was inferior if we compare it with "Transformers", there's too much comedy for be an action movie and it was very focused on the humans. No to mention the arrival of The Asylum's low budget knock off "Transmorphers 2: Fall Of Man" one week before ROTF's release.

- In June 25, the Earth stood still because of two tragedies: the deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, when i saw the notice on TV i thought "Is this some sick joke from the media?" but when i saw a helicopter transporting his body i realized that wasn't a joke, out of the scandals, Michael created a generation with his music, as for Farrah, she fought her cancer like she would do with a bad guy in "Charlie's Angels", fighting to the end.
