NEXT-00 ''Purple Beam''

More Hyperdimension Aleste. Got any curiosity of where did the NEXT series started?, then this is the beginning of the "New EXperimental Thruster", as a project originally developed by Planeptune. Although this one is based in Purple Heart instead of Next Purple.

"The NEXT-00 "Purple Beam" is the first step in a new type of aircraft equipment, the inclusion of an extra booster along with powered weaponry for survive and take down a large assault force with the minor number of units available.

This Test Type New EXperimental Thruster features twin hypervelocity energy shells, this are blasts fired at incredible speeds, in just 1 second, hundreds of bullets are already striking the enemy, it's the major damage possible inflicted on any kind of enemy. However there's a major disadvantage; the size. Even with the Share-coated shields and energy absorbing wings, the NEXT-00 is still a large target. This resulted in the cancellation of the NEXT development for Planeptune Airforce as the new development standards required a size reduction on the NEXT units, being Lowee the first nation of Gamindustri which succeeded with the completion and testing of the NEXT-01 White Wing.

Although the size restriction is a problem, the Multidimensional War left us with no choice but to deploy the only 5 NEXT-00's built. With 3 successful test flights, it's Planeptune's only and best chance to survive."
